The Altezzoso Size Guide

How to measure your hand for gloves

LEATHER GLOVES SIZING GUIDE

When buying leather gloves, it's important to know your hand size. Ordering without knowing your hand size will likely result in the gloves being too big or small for your hand. Follow these steps to learn your hand size:

  1. Gather the necessary materials: a measuring tape or, if you don't have one, a string, a pen, and paper.
  2. We recommend measuring your dominant hand as it's usually slightly larger. So if you use your right hand, measure your right hand.
  3. If you're using a string as shown in the video, wrap the string around the widest part of your dominant hand, starting from the base of your palm and making one full wrap around. Make sure the string is snug but not too tight. Lay the string flat on a ruler.
  4. If you're using a measuring tape, wrap it around the widest part of your dominant hand, starting from the base of your palm and making one full wrap around. Make sure to measure from the widest part of your palm.
  5. Record the measurement on paper and write it in inches or centimeters. Check the size chart below to determine your glove size. If you're between sizes, round to the nearest half or whole number. This measurement will be used to select your leather glove size.

By following these steps, you can easily measure your hand size and order your leather gloves.

How should gloves fit?

Gloves should be snug at first but will stretch with wear because leather is an organic and natural material.
