STRETCHING

It is one of the most important steps of production. The leather is stretched all the way to remove the hollow of the skin and locate all the parts that will make up the glove. The leather is processed by pulling from the head of the animal to the bottom. Then the size of the gloves is measured. For the best results in production, skilled and experienced cutters who know what they are doing are hired or specialized in different fields from a young age. CUTTING

Although cutting may sound easy, it is much more difficult than it looks. The glove pattern must be positioned correctly and the cut must match the glove style. One final time, the leather is stretched lengthwise to allow for greater elongation potential of the glove. Gloves, cardboard molds showing finger and thumb slots are powdered and the lines are cut and the areas determined by the molds are cut. All cut pieces are pulled again with the help of a tool called pike. Cutting is done with a special method called tablecut or glove press molds. Today, about 100 cutting masters in the world can do the hand-cutting process. The other method is cutting by placing hand-shaped metal molds under the hydraulic press.

SEWING

Glove sewing is done by hand or in special glove sewing machines according to the design. Hand sewing is the most traditional sewing method. Our female sewing specialists demonstrate their craft, using a needle and thread to join parts of the gloves with even seams. This is quite a time-consuming task. A hand stitcher can only sew 3 or 4 pairs of gloves per day. In machine sewing, skilled glove sewing masters work. 4 years of experience is needed to become a sewing master. All parts are brought together and turned into gloves with different sewing machines and techniques, which are decided according to the leather type, thickness and glove model.

LINING

Lining types such as wool, cashmere, silk, modal help the leather glove to protect your hand warmth and make you feel more comfortable. While the lining is being put on, the glove is positioned with the help of a wooden hand, and each fingertip is fixed with invisible stitches or a natural adhesive called latex, and the lining is sewn.

IRONING

Gloves that have been sewn are attached to the iron hand-shaped glove irons, which are specially produced according to their size. Master Pressers provide the perfect shape to the glove thanks to the heat given by the irons that are heated by the resistances passing through them. Because it is done with bare hands, it is a somewhat painful experience for the ironer until the hands become callused. After the final touches are made, the gloves are checked again. After ironing, the gloves are ready for boxing and shipping.
